About Us
GiftGen.co.uk is the brainchild of two college friends who are now in their mid-thirties. The site was over 2 years in development, which involved much researching of gift ideas, web-sites and stores. The site does not have its own products to promote and is therefore unbiased, and free to suggest absolutely any gift idea we like (currently over 2,300 suggestions). Gift ideas include such varied choices as 'Print your own free novelty voucher', 'Hot air balloon ride with champagne' 'Makeover photo session' and 'A goat for a 3rd world family'.

Media Exposure
The Gift Ideas Generator was recently featured as the No. 1 'most useful shopping site' (beating eBay & Kelkoo) in the Telegraph's '101 most useful websites' article. We've also been featured on Radio 2's 'Website of the day' and on GMTV, where it was used for christmas gift ideas. We were also featured in the 'Best new websites' section of 'Web User' magazine (Dec 2006), where we received 4 stars out of 5.
